Stefanie Lavoie

Stefanie received her B.A., Specialization in Psychology in 2000 from Concordia University. She began working in the lab as a volunteer in December 2002, and has been working as Laboratory Coordinator in the Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders Laboratory since August 2003. She is responsible for coordinating granting agency submissions, developing online measures and updating the laboratory web site, clinical registry, and annual newsletter and liaising with university departments such as behavioural ethics committees, financial services and office of research services. She has been actively involved in a number of projects in the lab over the years and is currently coordinating the OCD treatment study. Her research interests include treatment acceptability for anxiety and related problems, and reassurance seeking behaviour in OCD.

Savannah Marshall

Savannah received her B.A. with Honours in Psychology Neuroscience, and Behaviour with a mental health specialization and a minor in Indigenous Studies from McMaster University in 2022. She completed her Honours Thesis on Interoceptive Awareness and Emotion Regulation in Individuals with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. She has been working in the AOCD lab since July of 2022 where she is conducting assessments for anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders for clinical trials. Her research interests include evidence informed and culturally sensitive assessment and treatment for anxiety and related disorders, and mental health and wellbeing in Indigenous populations
